K2i Entertainments exits Wedding Industry

K2i Entertainments, part of the K2i Group, Inc, and one of Bay Area, California's top mobile discotheque companies no longer is actively providing services for the Indian Wedding Industry across North America.

"After much consideration and looking at the growth of the wedding business since 2005, it was decided to terminate our core services of DJ'ing, sound, lighting and visual systems for weddings. The Indian wedding industry in San Francisco has been one of our strongest business unit and we have enjoyed a great success shaking up the market with our entertainment approach" said Arvi Kang, Director, K2i Entertainments.

"Our goal with the DJ business was to change the perception of what Indian DJs are all about, lift the standard pricing for a show, and provide a innovative entertainment package that went beyond the speakers, a few lights and a DJ. From 61" plasma screens, JBL sound systems, live video playback, intelligent lighting systems and our signature, the 6ft silk fire flames, it did not take very long for the "K2i" name to become one of elegance and quality", Kang added.

The biggest success for the K2i team has been their ability to take on the larger American audio companies and compete head-to-head with securing accounts for sound and visuals systems. "We've done sound at every major venue in Bay Area covering hotels, convention centers and even setting up a concert type sound system on a decommissioned warship vessel!", said Danny Badorine, Head of Sound.

The next step for K2i Group, Inc is to remain with entertainment, but away from wedding services. With an impressive inventory list of industry standard systems, the growth focus is now on other lucrative industries that are clearly not being served as well as they should be.
